The Story of Nethercote Woodland
A 48-acre woodland in the heart of the National Forest, shaped by people, wildlife and a long-term commitment to its future.
A young woodland with a growing story
Nethercote Woodland was planted in 2005 as part of the National Forest. Today it is home to Fire & Stars Woodland Camping, a community sauna and a growing programme of conservation and woodland restoration. What happens here is about more than running a campsite. It is about helping this young woodland mature into a richer, more diverse and more resilient place for generations to come.
