Greenfield’s Farm Shop & Butchers

A farm shop and working butchery at Norton Barn Farm near Twycross. It is a natural place to pick up quality meat, sausages and burgers for the BBQ or firepit instead of buying everything from a supermarket.

Dreamy Cow Farmhouse Ice Cream

When falling milk prices put pressure on the family dairy farm, the Thorp family diversified into farmhouse ice cream. It is made at Culloden Farm using milk from their own cows and can be bought directly from the farm.

Back at the campsite

Cook under the trees

One of the pleasures of woodland camping is cooking outdoors. Pick up meat, vegetables or something special from a local producer, then bring it back to your pitch and turn supper into part of the camping experience.

Firepits & firewood

Each pitch has a firepit and firewood is available from Fire & Stars. Please follow the current fire-risk guidance displayed on site, as cooking arrangements may change during very dry weather.

Local food at Fire & Stars

We regularly welcome local food traders during the camping season, including our popular Saturday evening pizza van. Check what is happening during your stay or ask us when you arrive.
