What to Bring – Fire and Stars Woodland Sauna

Your visit to the Fire and Stars Woodland Sauna is about slowing down and reconnecting with nature.
A little preparation helps you settle in comfortably and make the most of your time among the trees.

What to Bring

  • Swimwear – this is a shared space, so suitable swimwear is required at all times.

  • Two towels – one to sit on inside the sauna and one to dry off with afterwards.

  • Flip-flops or sliders – the ground can be cool and uneven underfoot.

  • Water bottle – staying hydrated helps you enjoy the heat safely.

  • Padlock or small pouch – optional, for keeping belongings secure.

  • Bag for damp items – handy for towels or swimwear after your session.

  • Warm layers – the woodland air feels refreshing once you’ve cooled down.

How It Works

Each session is your own journey between heat and cool, stillness and conversation.
Most people enjoy two or three gentle rounds, spending time in the sauna, cooling off in the air or plunge, and then returning to the warmth.

You can sit quietly, chat softly, or simply listen to the forest.
There’s no right way to sauna – take it at your own pace.

Common questions:

  • Do I have to take the plunge? No.

  • Can I step out and return? Yes.

  • Do I need to chat? Only if you want to.

What to Expect

The first heat can feel strong at first – breathe slowly and let your body adjust.
When you step out, the forest air or plunge pool will feel instantly refreshing and invigorating.
By the end, most people describe a deep, calm warmth and a clear, peaceful head.

Arrival and Check-In

Arrive 15 minutes before your session to check in, change, and settle in without rush.
Our team will greet you, explain how everything works, and help you find your rhythm.
