Simple facilities, thoughtfully set up.
Everything you need for a comfortable woodland stay, while keeping the experience peaceful, practical and close to nature.
Comfort without losing the woodland feel.
Fire & Stars is a low-impact campsite rather than a conventional holiday park. Our facilities are clean, useful and deliberately simple. Here is the honest picture of what you will find before you book.
The practical things are covered.
From clean drinking water to getting your kit to your pitch, the essentials have been designed around a relaxed stay among the trees.
Mains drinking water
Mains water has been available onsite since April 2025, with taps for drinking, filling bottles and preparing food.
Woodland wash station
Two sheltered sinks provide hot and cold running water, generous worktop space and a practical place to wash up in all weathers.
Toilets and hand hygiene
Six portable toilets are professionally serviced, with handwashing and hand sanitiser available onsite.
Reception and supplies
Reception is your first stop for check-in, local help and campsite essentials. Firewood is available to buy onsite.
Parking and pitch trolleys
Tent pitches are reached on foot from the car park, with trolleys available to help move your camping kit through the woodland.
Waste and recycling
Designated waste and recycling points help everyone leave pitches clean and protect the woodland for the next guests.
Built for woodland life.
The timber shelter blends into the site while giving campers a dry, roomy place to wash up and refill water.
On your pitch
Use Fire & Stars firepits only, burn firewood bought onsite and follow the current Green, Amber or Red fire status. Pitch restrictions can change with conditions.
Communal BBQ and fire area
When restrictions apply on pitches, the large stoned area behind reception provides a controlled alternative, with picnic benches, guest-use BBQs and a communal firepit for gathering and toasting marshmallows.
Disposable BBQs
During Amber and Red periods they are not allowed on pitches, but may be used in the designated communal area. They must never be placed on picnic benches.
A clear picture of the campsite.
The simpler setup is part of the experience, but it is important to arrive prepared.
