All our pitches are very large, they are nestled within 10 acres of woodland making each pitch feel like its own private area of woodland. There are 48 acres of woodland to explore with over 8km of paths in the wider woodland.

Our Facilities.
At Fire & Stars is to provide our guests with an experience as close to nature as possible, alongside operating under a strict eco code of conduct and our responsibility for the wellbeing of our National Forest woodland and surrounding protected areas.
This means that we operate a truly ‘off grid’ experience with only the bare necessities to get you by, with everything else provided by nature.
Showers.
Just a short walk from the campsite you will find The Old Crown, a local traditional pub. There is a small shower block located there where you can take a shower (and have a drink whilst you wait).
Toilets.
We have portable toilets located in a quiet, private and self-enclosed on-site block. All toilets are flushing with a hand washing sink and hand sanitiser available.
Water.
After years of careful planning, we’re thrilled to share that mains water was connected to the site in April 2025.
Electricity.
Due to the scale and infrastructure of the site, there is no electric hook-up offered on site, so make sure you bring your torches and camping lamps.

Woodland Wash Station
Our purpose-built woodland wash station provides everything you need for a comfortable stay while keeping you connected to nature.
With drinking water on tap as well as hot and cold running water, it’s perfect for washing up, preparing food, filling kettles, or freshening up after a day exploring the National Forest. The spacious, sheltered design means you’re protected from the elements, whatever the weather.
Built from timber to blend naturally into the woodland surroundings, the wash station combines practicality with the rustic Fire and Stars feel, simple, functional, and thoughtfully designed for life outdoors.
