Before the heat

Arrive ready to slow down

Checking in early gives you time to change, hear the safety briefing and enjoy the whole session without rushing.

1

Arrive clean

Please arrive showered and avoid heavy fragrances, lotions or oils. They can affect the shared space and sauna surfaces.

2

Bring two towels

Use one towel to sit on inside the sauna and keep the other dry for afterwards. Bring swimwear, water and sliders too.

3

Come alcohol-free

Do not use the sauna after drinking alcohol or taking recreational drugs. Good judgement and hydration matter around heat and cold water.

Inside the sauna

Respect the room

Community sessions are friendly and relaxed, but the sauna is not a loud social venue. Give other guests space to enjoy the heat in their own way.

Sit on your towel

  • Keep your whole body on the towel where practical.
  • Close the door promptly to retain heat.
  • Do not place oils, water or anything else on the stove unless your host invites you to.

Keep it considerate

  • Use calm voices and follow the mood of the room.
  • Keep phones away inside the sauna.
  • Never photograph or film another guest without clear consent.

Follow your body

  • Leave the heat whenever you need to.
  • Rest and drink water between rounds.
  • Tell the host immediately if you feel dizzy, faint or unwell.

Heat, cool, rest

Your pace is the right pace

A session usually includes several short rounds of heat with time outside to cool and rest. You do not have to match anyone else's timings.

Cold water is optional

Cooling down is part of the rhythm

Fresh air and a gentle rest are enough. The cold plunge is always optional, so only use it if it feels right for you and follow the host's instructions.

Good to know

Leave the heat promptly if needed

Heat should feel strong but manageable. Step out, sit down and speak to the host if you feel uncomfortable.

Health note: If you are pregnant, have a heart or circulatory condition, have concerns about heat exposure, or are unsure whether sauna is suitable for you, seek appropriate medical advice before booking.
