Information we collect
Depending on how you use Fire & Stars, we may collect:
- your name, email address, telephone number and postal address;
- camping or sauna booking details, dates, party information and requests relevant to your visit;
- gift-voucher purchase and recipient information;
- information you provide through our contact and Biodiversity Net Gain enquiry forms, including development and professional project details;
- marketing preferences where you choose to receive updates;
- technical information about use of the website, such as device, browser, IP address and pages visited, where our cookie settings and your choices permit this.
We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details. Card payments are processed by Stripe.

Bookings, payments and service providers
Camping bookings are administered through Planyo. Camping and sauna card payments are processed by Stripe. Gift vouchers are supplied by Fire and Stars Ltd, with payments processed through the payment services shown at checkout. Squarespace hosts this website and provides website forms, content management and related services.
We may also use email, security, anti-spam, analytics and embedded-content providers where needed to operate the website and respond to you. Providers process information only for the relevant service and under their own contractual and privacy arrangements.
External links and services, including what3words, WhatsApp, social networks, maps, video or review services, may receive information when you choose to open or interact with them. Please review the privacy information provided by those services.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only where needed with service providers that support bookings, payments, website hosting, communications, security and professional administration, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards used by the relevant provider and required under UK data protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We consider the length of the booking or enquiry relationship, safety and customer-service needs, accounting and tax requirements, potential disputes, legal obligations and whether an enquiry remains active. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised where practical.
Marketing
We may send news or offers where you have asked to receive them or where the law otherwise permits. Marketing choices are kept separate from ordinary service enquiries. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.
