Nice place, with a very welcoming hosts. Good range of supplies at the site shop. Pitches surrounded by trees, making it much more pleasant than open parking lots with one caravan or tent by the other. Chemical toilets, well kept.
Great campsite. The pitches in in the woods its so nice to have some privacy from other campers. We were able to have 2 tents in the same area with friends. Great to have the fire going. Will definitely be visiting again to explore the woods nearby.
Amazing!! Everything we wanted from our camping trip. The woodland setting was relaxing and beautiful. Loved it so much we are returning this weekend. We went with our 2 grandchildren aged 10.

We didn't feel the need to leave the site as we took plenty of games and just relaxed from the outside world. Phone service was limited so no electronics for the kids which was perfect. We enjoyed sitting around the fire and it was nice to go back to basics. Also another bonus, pitches weren't on top of each other so your space was your own and you really were in the middle of the woods. Andy couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend.
I was skeptical about camping in the wood because I've only ever pitched on grass before. However, we spent a wonderful weekend with friends and their children (7 kids aged between 9 & 3 years) among the trees at Fire and Stars.

It was perfect. We were sheltered from the very hot sun and also the wind. The fire pits are a great touch, we love a camp fire. The kids had a blast hunting for beasts in the woods and making friends with other campers kids. I didn't use the showers at the pub, but those that did said how nice they were. The toilets were clean and the staff welcoming. We didn't see any other campers unless we went to the public areas, it was bliss. Will be returning next summer when we've picked a date.
We had such a great experience at this woodland campsite! The location is beautiful — surrounded by trees, peaceful, and full of nature. The site itself is great for families, well-maintained, and clearly looked after with care.

It’s very family-friendly, with plenty of space for the kids to play safely. There is a lovely woodland walks right on the doorstep, perfect for both short strolls and longer adventures. The local pub is just a short walk away, has a good outdoor play area for the kids, which was a big hit with our little ones. The facilities on-site were clean and well-equipped, and we felt relaxed and comfortable the whole time. We loved the combination of being surrounded by nature while still having easy access to amenities and local attractions. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the woods.
