CAMP RULES.
Simple rules that help everyone enjoy the woods
Fire & Stars is a family campsite and a living woodland. These rules protect our guests, neighbours, wildlife and trees. Please make sure everyone in your booking understands them.
Quiet at night
Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 7:30am. Keep voices and activity low enough that neighbouring pitches cannot hear you.
No music
Music is not permitted anywhere on site. This includes speakers, car stereos and musical instruments. Please use headphones.
Follow fire status
Fires are allowed only in Fire & Stars firepits and are always subject to the current Green, Amber or Red fire status.
Supervise children
Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adults throughout the stay, including around fires and woodland activities.
Keep dogs controlled
Dogs must be declared, kept under control and cleaned up after. Do not allow them to disturb other guests, wildlife or livestock.
Protect the woodland
Do not cut trees, collect wood, strip bark, damage plants or interfere with wildlife and habitat features.
Enjoy the fire, respect the conditions
Woodland fire risk changes with the weather. Always check the current status displayed on site and follow staff instructions.
Campfires
Use only the Fire & Stars firepit provided for your pitch. Burn only Fire & Stars firewood. Keep the fire small, attended and under adult supervision, with water ready. Extinguish it fully before sleeping or leaving.
Barbecues
Never place a disposable barbecue on picnic benches, grass or woodland ground. During Amber and Red status, disposable barbecues are not allowed on pitches but may be used in the designated stoned communal area behind reception.
No fireworks, sky lanterns, candles or unauthorised fires are permitted.
